Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010/2012 is a set of runtime packages from Microsoft Corporation that installs the Visual C++ libraries required by many Windows applications built with Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012. These components—including the C Runtime (CRT), the C++ Standard Library, MFC, ATL, and OpenMP—enable such applications to run correctly on PCs that do not have Visual Studio installed.
